4 Days Orang-utan Wildlife Explores and River cruise.



Day 01
Upon arrival at Pangkalan Bun airport, meeting service then transfer to Kumai by car. A short presentation on the tour before you embark the “ Klotok “ boat for a 2 hours river cruise on meandering Sekonyer river  to reach Rimba Lodge . Check in the Rimba Lodge, and then continue to explore the river ecology in the afternoon and surrounding for Proboscis monkeys and others. Back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 02
After breakfast, proceed upstream to Camp Leaky research site , river cruising on black placid river, learning more about river ecology and forest around the area. Hiking at Camp Leaky to search for  more wildlife, visiting the Orang-utan Education Centre. Mid day return to the boat for lunch and walk to the forest for orang-utan feeding at 2 o’clock. Enjoy your wonderful river experience down stream for more exploring the wildlife along the river including long nose monkey, long tails macaque and birds on your way back to Rimba Lodge

Day 03
With your boat cruising down the river to observe the ecology of the river and join another morning Orang-utan feeding at Pondok Tangguy station, trekking on loop trail. Lunch will served on the way down the river to Pesalat reforestation. Visit Tanjung Harapan camp to learn the process of baby orang-utan training and you may join another feeding for orang-utan too. Then explore the river to experience afternoon wildlife activity, and Proboscis monkey observation. Late afternoon cruise down to Nipa palm forest to see the fireflies and searching for black monkey. Back to Rimba Lodge

Day 04 Rimba lodge-Kumai-Airport
After breakfast, boating down to Kumai then transfer to Pangkalan Bun Airport for your next destination.
